Sea Kings on the Rise

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Corona del Mar High School has been distinguished as the number one public high school in Orange County! According to the U.S. News & World Report, CdM also placed 40th in the state of California and 270th in the United States altogether. All members of our Sea King family, from grades 7-12 and across all disciplines, have created an ongoing culture of excellence; we are honored that CdM did so well in this year’s rankings!

More than 19,000 public high schools in the United States were carefully scrutinized through a process that analyzed their performance on standardized tests, graduation rates, and college-readiness. Our school’s success can be attributed directly to our dedicated teachers, who are committed to providing rigorous academic instruction; a counseling staff that supports our students’ academic goals and their social/emotional needs; students who are eager to learn – who take pride in doing their best, day in and day out; and a parent community that provides time, energy and resources to support our mission as a school.

Keep up the great work, Sea Kings!
