CSF Information

CSF

The California Scholarship Federation exists to promote and recognize high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship on the part of students in California schools

The deadline for submitting the CSF application to the ASB office is Thursday, March 15 by 12:00 p.m.  Per CSF Constitution, NO late applications will be accepted.

  • CSF applications and approved courses will be available in the counseling office and on the CDM counseling webpage  BEGINNING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15.  The application must be accompanied by a copy of your report card from February 2018.
  • For your application to be complete: Fill out the CSF application, attach your report card from February 2018 and pay $3 to the ASB office.  You may also go to the ASB Web Store and pay online.  All applications are turned in to the ASB office.  If you pay online, please attach your printed receipt.

CSF membership is open to Grades 9-12 only. Membership during the 9th grade year is known as “Associate Member” and those semesters are not counted toward qualifying for Gold Seal Bearer status. 9th graders may only apply after first semester grades are posted.  A student earns Gold Seal Bearer status from four or more qualifying semesters in the last three years of high school (10th-12th grade). If a student earns Gold Seal Bearer status, they are recognized by wearing a gold tassel and cord at graduation.

A point system specified in the CSF State By-Laws establishes the membership requirements.  The point system is on the front of the application. To secure eligibility for CSF membership, a student must earn sufficient points from the pre-approved course list attached to the application.

If you need further assistance, please see Mrs. Nyeholt or Mrs. Sasada in the counseling office.

CSF Club

This year there will be a CSF club that organizes fundraisers throughout the year. All proceeds will go towards a college scholarship, which all seniors in CSF will be considered for! Club members will receive community service hours for volunteering at fundraisers. Club membership is NOT required to qualify for the scholarships we offer during senior year, but participation will be a factor in our decision.

If you would like to sign up for the CSF club, first turn in the application to the ASB office, and then fill out this form: goo.gl/u1XSHz
