Our CdM PTA is proud to bring Dr. Denise Pope, founder of Challenge Success, to speak with teachers, administrators, some students and staff during the daytime and parents in the evening on Monday, April 22 at 7pm in the Sea King Theater. Dr. Pope is the Co-Founder of Challenge Success, an award winning author and a senior lecturer at Stanford University. Her focus is helping families with the tools they need to raise healthy, motivated students while increasing student well-being, engagement with learning and integrity. Parents may purchase tickets online or in person at our CdM ASB/Student Store. Please bring emailed receipt to the event as your ticket for entrance. This event will SELL OUT as seating is limited in our Sea King Theatre capacity. If you do purchase a ticket and cannot use it, please share it with another CdM family.

PAL is hosting Yellow Ribbon Week. If you want to learn more about Suicide Prevention, come to hear the guest speaker on Wednesday in the Lecture Hall. 

The United States Navy will be visiting us on Tuesday, April 23rd at lunch in the LRC. They will be doing a great presentation on the Navy Seals and Special Force Warfare programs.

Sign up now for the PSAT Mock test on Saturday, May 25th at 8:00 am. Registration is now open on the CDM Foundation website (www.cdmfoundation.org). Any questions see Mama Mary in the LRC.

Earth Day Fair is coming!  Tomorrow at lunch will be the 3rd annual Earth Day Fair. There will be over 25 booths with games and information regarding various Earth Day topics.

Our CdM PTA 2019 Home Tour Committee is having their first meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30pm. Current parents, incoming parents and parents of graduates are all welcome!  When it comes to volunteering for our only fundraiser of the year, there is something for everyone and lots of ways to help out, large and small. If you are looking to connect with our school community, this fun committee is a great place to get your feet wet.  Come join us and bring a friend! Can’t make this meeting, but would like to help? The next Comedy Sportz Match is Friday, April 26th at 7pm in the Black Box against Capo Valley High School. Tickets are five dollars.

Drama 2/3 Show Case is Friday, May 10th at 7pm. Tickets are 10 dollars at the door. Location is the Sea King Theater.

Attention all those who participate on Track and Field: Team photo will be taken TOMORROW at 1:40 on the track. Ms. Ball has the photo order forms if you want individual pictures taken, come get the flier in room 224 or email Ms. Ball at mball@nmusd.us for an electronic form.

The Earth Day Photo contest entries are due on April 22; Draw, photograph, or write about what Earth Day means to you. Turn it in at the ASB Window. 

Attention 7th Graders - 2019/2020 ASB Applications are now available. Check loop mail from Mr. Dobyns for the application. They are also available in the ASB Office.

Cheer Tryout and meeting info - begins April 24th. Flyer

8th Graders - Come to Casino Night presented by MSASB on May 10th at 6:00pm. Photo booth, tacos, DJ, Casino Games. Permission slips will be delivered during your 4th period class this week. FREE with ASB and $10 without.
