Mission and Vision

Corona del Mar Sports Medicine program will provide high quality care to CDM student athletes through injury prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation.  Along with the schools mission, it is the sports medicine team's goal to provide the opportunity for each athlete to reach his/her physical capabilities in the safest way possible. We will do so through compassionate and thorough care.

 

Athletic Training Policy

An Athletic Trainer will be present or on campus for all Varsity sporting events.  Water will be provided for most all events.  Ice and First Aid will always be available for student athletes. Unless there is a specific sporting event, the Athletic Training Room will open at 1pm and close at 5pm.  For more information about services provided please contact Cassidy Filpi

Cassidy Filpi, ATC

Cassidy became a Sea King in the Winter of 2016 after graduating from Cal State Fullerton University, with a bachelor's in Athletic Training.  As a student athletic trainer she gained most of her experience with Division 1 baseball, soccer, and basketball. She also has experience with football from Mt. Sac College, Esperanza High School and Walnut High School. In her spare time Cassidy enjoys golfing, camping, and snowboarding.
